The good thing is I took my shower and had all my house work done nice and early this morning and have been sitting around relaxing on the couch. The bad thing is all I want to do on days like this is eat. And we have cup cakes in the house!

December is here, I can’t stop thinking about food. All I wont to do is eat!
A few people have asked me for the “Better Than Sex Cake” recipe so I thought I would just post it here.
Looking it up I found it is made a few different ways but this is how my step mom has always made it for me and it is to die for.
BETTER THAN SEX CAKE
1 cup flour
One-half cup softened margarine
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup powdered sugar
6 ounces of instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
1- 8 ounce Cool Whip (thawed)
1 - 8-ounce cream cheese
6 ounce vanilla pudding
1 large Hershey chocolate bar
1- 8 ounce Cool Whip (thawed)Mix flour, oleo and pecans; press into a 9 inch X 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes and COOL. In large bowl mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy, fold in 8 ounce Cool Whip. Spread this over cooked crust. Combine pudding mixes and 3 cups milk, beat well until thickened., spread over cheese layer. Spread last 8 ounce Cool Whip over pudding layer. Chill several hours and garnish with shaved chocolate. Cut into squares to serve.
They are my latest addiction.
You know, if you eat enough of them at once it’s just like having dessert.
Our spooky dinner date was a blast. There are so many cool Halloween decorations up that you can’t possibly see them all in one trip. We are already planning on going back again soon. Next time I will try and remember to take my camera so I can post a few pictures.
I ordered chicken corn tacos and of course I ate way too much. I still feel like I am going to burst. As soon as I walked in the door, I think I might have broken a record for how fast one person can remove a pair of jeans and put on a pair of pajama bottoms. The food was that good.
Allison and I have dinner plans this evening with a good friend of mine. We are going to a local Mexican restaurant, Manuel’s that decorates it’s entire place for Halloween. Every year it’s like eating in a haunted house. Dark, spooky and scary stuff every where. It’s so much fun and their food just so happens to my favorite around here.
