They are my latest addiction.
You know, if you eat enough of them at once it’s just like having dessert.

Our spooky dinner date was a blast. There are so many cool Halloween decorations up that you can’t possibly see them all in one trip. We are already planning on going back again soon. Next time I will try and remember to take my camera so I can post a few pictures.
I ordered chicken corn tacos and of course I ate way too much. I still feel like I am going to burst. As soon as I walked in the door, I think I might have broken a record for how fast one person can remove a pair of jeans and put on a pair of pajama bottoms. The food was that good.
Allison and I have dinner plans this evening with a good friend of mine. We are going to a local Mexican restaurant, Manuel’s that decorates it’s entire place for Halloween. Every year it’s like eating in a haunted house. Dark, spooky and scary stuff every where. It’s so much fun and their food just so happens to my favorite around here.
These are awesome !
You will need,
2 ripe but firm bananas
6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped, or semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup granola, chopped pecans and walnuts, or sprinkles (optional)
I ran to Subway for lunch today. When I walked in they were just pulling a batch of cookies out of the oven. It smelled like a bakery! Smelled so good that I told the girl, that is just evil baking those cookies during lunch hour, there’s no way I can leave with out buying some. Evil, ha, when she added the cookies to my order, it rang up at $6.66. She looked at me and said, when you said evil, you weren’t kidding. Of course I bought three for a dollar, and of course I ate all three this afternoon already. Evil yummy cookies.
What is it about the word “diet” that makes me so damn hungry?
It’s what’s for dinner.
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 tsp. minced garlic (4 cloves)
1 lb. lg. shrimp, shelled, deveined
2 med. red bell peppers, seeded, sliced
1 tbsp. dried leaf basil, crumbled
2 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
1/2 lb. spinach linguini, cooked and drained
In large skillet, melt butter, saute garlic 1 minute. Add shrimp, red pepper slices, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
Saute 3 to 5 minutes until shrimp are tender. Serve over linguini.
Yum!
I made Mexican for dinner last night and these new Flour Tortilla Chips are awesome !
It may only be 24 degrees outside but that didn’t stop me from enjoying some DQ this afternoon with the girls.
Oh my gawd, I need some chocolate. I don’t just want it, I need it.
And I have none! Not even one stray little kiss, I already checked the bottom of my purse and nada.
Not sure if it is stress (Lord knows I have it) or hormones (Lord knows they have been wacked) that are driving me so crazy lately but what ever it is I know for sure chocolate is the fix and I have over two and a half hours to go before I can leave work.
Any one else plan to enjoy a Paczki today?
I bought a strawberry filled one to eat during my morning break.
And I am not letting myself feel guilty about it either.
