With less then a month until the return of Nip Tuck for it’s sixth and final season I thought I would share some teaser videos to celebrate.

As sad as I am to see this show come to an end, it’s sure going to be a hell of a season!
While the cat is away this mouse watches a lot of movies ! I know, I am getting all crazy and wild in my old age. I was invited to a “girls night” party last night but I chose to spend time in a dark theater with Richard Gere instead.
I can’t say I was disappointed because I enjoyed the movie. It is very well acted and well made but it felt just a little flat in spots compared to the book. I guess it’s impossible to hold the entire feel of a book, especially with such an emotional story.
I would still recommend the movie to anyone who loves a good love story. Richard Gere and Diane Lane were both fabulous. As was the entire cast. Just don’t forget your tissues.
Friday night Bethany and I were up until 3:00am eating ice cream and watching chick flicks. We rented P.S. I love You, Maid of Honor and Smart People.
Here are my quick little reviews;
P.S. I Love You - I liked it more then I thought I would but said the words how dumb more then once. I would give it 5 or 6 stars out of 10.
Made Of Honor - It was Ok for a rental. I am not a big Patrick Dempsey fan and think I could have liked it more with some one else in the lead role. I would give it 4 out of 10 stars.
Smart People - LOVED it ! I am always a fan of real human stories. Damaged people. This one is so subtle and so very well written. Not a bad performance in the bunch. I would give it 9.5 out of 10 stars.
With Allison grounded from the TV and my husband working at my sister’s house this is the perfect weekend for me to spend with Grey’s Anatomy season four.
Just in time too. I’ll be all caught up for the new season to start on 9/25.
I expected better. Something witty, funnier.... better.
Sigh -Yada yada yada....how long before they film another one? or is this it? It can’t be.
I hate it when I run in to the video store to return something and notice that a movie I really wanted to see came out. I’ll just grab it with out even thinking first if I am going to have time to watch it. More often then not when this happened I end up keeping it an extra day, paying a late fee and returning it still unwatched. I am returning Smart People on my way home this evening, unwatched and a day late. I could think of much better ways to spend my money. Even worse is that I really want to see this movie so I am sure to be renting it again when I do have time to watch it. By the time that happens, I could have just bought the movie.
Don’t call me tonight because I wont answer ! I am planning on barking myself on the couch and watching the second season of Grey’s Anatomy on DVD in to the wee hours of the night. Yes, I know I am a late bloomer. I hardly ever catch on to good TV shows when everyone else is crazy for them. Even when she told me to watch, I just couldn’t get in to it. But I am digging it now. How did we ever live with out TV on DVD?
After a long day at work I am really looking forward to sharing a pizza with my husband and watching the season premiere of Burn Notice tonight.
It’s one of the very few TV shows that we both actually like and enjoy watching together.
and I just know this season is going to be really good.
Now, I am not an Idol watcher but If I had to bet on a winner this season, I’d have to go with Cook. I THINK !
I think it’s funny that the final two are both named David. They are both so different is style but both so talented it’s hard to pick. The only reason I think Cook might win is because he has more of a personality it seems. If I had to pick myself, I think I like Archuleta more. There is just some thing about the sound of that kids voice. Just amazing. Either way, no matter who wins I am sure they both have a very bright future in music.
