If anyone is interested in what I thought of the Nip Tuck season finale,
it’s over here.

“Does knowing you’ve been poisoned make it better or worse? Or is that sort of beside the point once you’ve been shot, too?”

As sad as I am to see this season of Nip Tuck come to an end, I can not wait to watch this tonight!

Gerry and I have been up late watching movies the last couple of nights. Not even starting them until 10:00pm. It’s been kinda fun being up so late on the couch together sharing a blanket and some snacks while every one else in the house is asleep. Even the hound.

We watched We Own The Night, which we both thought was pretty good. I good story movie with a great cast. Phoenix and Wahlberg were both equally good. I have never been a fan of Eva Mendes in fact she kind of gets on my nerves when I see her in movies but this role seemed to suit her.

Last night we watched Gone Baby Gone. One damn good movie! Another good story movie with an outstanding cast. I felt the entire movie was very well made. I kind of knew what it was about, but not really. Sad and disturbing, it’s not a movie for everybody. There is a scene about three quarters of the way in to the movie that I knew as soon as it passed I was going to have a hard time shaking it. Even thou it’s not real graphic like other movies I have seen, it messed me up!  This movie effected me. I can’t recommend it enough if you haven’t seen it.

I also hope it’s not the last we see from Ben Affleck as a director. I thought he did a great job!

I can not wait to see this movie ! It looks so good.

I have been listening to the soundtrack in my car on the way to work in the mornings. Puts me in such a good mood.
The play is actually here in Detroit this week but I don’t have the money or any one to go with.

While taking it easy this weekend I have already watched a bunch of movies and shows.
Some rented, some on T.V and some DVDs we own.

Rented -
The Jane Austen Book Club,
I really liked it. A great cast and good chick flick.

Feast of Love,
I didn’t love this movie as I thought I was going to. I did love the cast and it was interesting enough to keep me watching until the end. I adore Morgan Freeman more with every movie I see him in.

The Brave One,
Saw this one at the movies and really liked it. It’s a very moving and heartbreaking story. Even though Jody Foster is not one of my favorite actors, Terrence Howard is.

On T.V. -
I watched a few episodes of Scrubs and One Tree Hill.

DVDs I’ve pulled out to try and keep myself in bed,

Practical Magic,
One of my very favorite movies that I own. I haven’t watched it in a long time so I really enjoyed it. It’s the ultimate chick flick and makes me think of my relationship with my sister and best friend.

Must Love Dogs,
Another chick flick I own but haven’t watched in a while. I enjoyed seeing it again.

Sex & The City season two,
I adore pretty much every episode ever made of this show and own them all on DVD. Talk about the ultimate in chick flick!

Now I have to try and nap before Allison comes home from my sister’s house and it’s home work time.

I’ll be Nip Tuck-in’ it alone tonight. Bethany ditched me to go help out her aunt with her new baby while her husband is out of town. Really, that’s okay, I can barley keep my eyes open and plan on going straight to bed as soon as it’s over. It’s great to have some one to watch it with every week but I am always so tried the next day at work because we tend to stay up and discuss the show.

How much Pepsi would you sip for JT?

Love Andy Samberg !! He is the best thing to hit SNL in a long time.

This is our latest Wii addition in our house, Rayman Raving Rabbits. If you have a Wii and haven’t tried it yet, you need to. Trust me, it’s a blast.

Half the fun of owning a Wii for me is watching Allison play games like this. She gets so serious and focused while jumping around and swinging her arms. Cracks me up.

Gerry and I watched Death Sentence staring Kein Bacon last night. First let me just say it is NOT a movie to watch right before going to bed. We both tossed and turned through the night.

I am not sure how to review this movie. But I’ll give it a try under the cut because of possible spoilers....

Key points if you don’t want to know any thing that MIGHT be a spoiler , violent, very violent, over the top acting but sucked me in to the story. Depressing, very depressing. Look for a great performance by John Goodman. Worth the rent. Did I say violent and depressing enough? Probably not.

I was just sitting here watching One Tree Hill on my DVR and was kinda digging the rock band they have Peyton trying to sign.... then I realized the singer is ef-ing K- Fed !!!

Here’s a clip,

Now that I am blogging about it, I am not sure what is worse, that I am 37 and DVRing One Tree Hill or that for a minute there I was liking Kevin Federline.

Warning this Tom Cruise interview is nine minutes of WTF crazy talk.

(The video was pulled but thanks to Kat, I can give you a link and you can watch it on Gawker)

Question, who are “those people” he keeps talking about that stop him from playing ? And what does he “know” that stops him from going on vacation and romping? I saw Katie on Regis & Kelly yesterday and I have to say, she is a little crazy now too. Two peas in pod of crazy.
