I am in such a good mood today. Maybe it’s the new hair, or how relaxed I feel after my massage last night ? Or maybe it’s because in less then two hours I’ll be on my way home to have dinner with family, husband included. Maybe it’s because Thursday is my favorite T.V. night and I know I am going to end my evening with 90 minutes of laughing?
Or maybe it’s because I know tomorrow is Friday and I have plans to end my work week with a few T.G.I.F. drinks with my sister and that’s always a good time! No maybe’s about that one!

When I leave work today not only am I over the hump of the work week but I have an appointment for a stress relief massage and a hair cut and color. Boy can I use it, all of it! This has been such a busy week with no sign of slowing down any time soon. In fact we are pretty booked solid through Sunday evening.

My husband and I had the best celebration date night last night. Dinner at a really nice restaurant, drinks and laughs at the hotel bar and well lets just say after that we did some really awesome and much needed private celebrating the rest of the night.
The only thing I would change is next time I am booking the room for two nights because reality comes back way too fast.

Tonight is my husbands last night working second shift ! He starts his new job Monday morning at 8:00am. We are talking about going out tomorrow night to celebrate. Maybe a nice dinner, maybe an early movie first, I am even thinking of booking us a room. I mentioned it to him this morning and he said go for it. Now I just need to find one I want to book.

I booked us a really nice jacuzzi room in a hotel not too far away. Yay !

My girlfriend Vicky and I decided that we are buying Bon Jovi and Daughtry tickets this Saturday morning. I am so excited. I don’t think I have been to a concert in some where around eight or even ten years. It was so funny, when the radio announced the show, I was like ohhhhh, I wanna go. I loooove Bon Jovi, then they said the date and that it’s on a Wednesday night, I am sure my face looked of fear. Crap, I can’t do that, I’ll have to work the next day. I am so old! But guess what? We’re going any way and we’re gonna have a great girls night out. So we work tired! We’re not THAT old. We can take it.

I did it !

I popped in a Justin Timberlake CD and kicked out four dozen cup cakes. Go Jenn !
The cup cakes were done and delivered by 8:00 and I was here all comfy in my bed just in time for 30 Rock to start. Damn was it funny this week, one of the best. The Office also has me laughing out loud this week.

Wow, I really had a good day today.  It feels good to say that.

Oh, commercial is over, back to The Office.

It’s been hard couple of days for me.
Turns out, having your mother in law move in with you, not so easy.

But today… today is Friday and I have plans to hide out at my sister’s house tonight with the girls and enjoy a big ol’ bottle of Jose Cuervo,

I am so ready.

I am sitting in a nice restaurant with my husband, sipping a Dt. Coke and watching the fog lift off of Lake Huron. It is a beautiful view and the weather today is just perfect.
It’s doesn’t get much better then this.

A good time was had here last night! The girls all showed up in their PJ’s and arms full of beer. We played a little Wii and then jammed the 80’s rock station and laughed until after 1:30am. 

I love it when my husband calls on his lunch break just to tell me he loves me.
I miss him so much since he has gone on afternoons.

In about two hours Gerry and I are leaving for a four hour drive to pick up our new home away from home.

I am a little nervous about the whole thing. It looks great and we agreed on a very good price, I just hope when we get all the way there that there are no surprises with it.
Also, even though we have a big truck, F250 and the best hitch and sway package, I am still nervous about the drive home, we have never pulled any thing this big before, 36 feet is a lot of trailer.
