I did a little shopping on my home from work today. I came home with three pairs of pants, two tops and a couple of unmentionables. All for $103.00! I love this time of year.
Thank you!
It was nice to come from work and find some thing sweet in the mail instead of the usual bills.
We are headed your way!
Yep, in April Gerry, Allison and I will be tagging along with my mom and step dad to visit some friends in London for a week.
I am pretty excited about it.
We will be staying with a good friend of my mom. Her and her husband have a very large house and have offered it up for the week. So that will cut any hotel and some of our meal cost. How nice is that! They are not only super nice but a very fun couple to spend time with, so I know it will be a great week. And from the emails I have read, they are just as excited to have us as we are to be going. Allison as been some what of pen pal with their granddaughter but I never really thought they would have a chance to ever meet. She is going to be so excited.
While away for the weekend, Gerry and I did a little shopping.
This is what I came home with from 9 West.
I love it!
You brought tears to my eyes this afternoon and you gave me so much to think about.
I am so lucky to be blessed with such wonderful family and friends.
Thank you.
My sister invited us over last night for a few drinks and to hang out with her brother in law and his wife. She told me on the phone that they had brought over their Wii.
Let me start by saying, I am so not a gamer, I mean not at all. The last video game I liked was Ms. Pacman or maybe Centipede. so I was expecting to just hang out and watch them play.
Well, I had no idea!
We had such a good time playing the bowling. We also had some pretty damn good drinks.
It was just what I needed, a few hours of fun and laughs with my sister and letting go of all the stress that is going on in our life right now.
Yeah, now I am hooked, I need one of these. Like right now.
I am so excited! With our daughter spending most of spring break with her grandparents,
I have a romantic dinner planned for tonight.
Crabcakes, rice, and fresh grean beans. I think I’ll even stop on my way home and pick up a bottle of red wine.
