The days seemed to be moving really slow this week. I was swamped at work yesterday and it still felt like forever before I got back home. Allison and I had a great evening last night, hanging out and making cookies. I really can’t wait to get back home again today but every time I look at the clock, I swear it is just sitting still.

I am alone in the office today and it has been really extra quiet, strangely quiet. No emails or phone calls coming in. It feels like I am here on a wrong day, like a weekend or some thing. Very strange. It can make for a very long day. At least I have the internet to keep me busy. I have spent hours on reading my blogroll, surfing gossip blogs and Twilight fan sites. Now it’s almost time to go home. I am so glad it’s Friday!

I can’t believe I am sale shopping for school supplies already.
Every year time is going by faster and faster I swear.

Today is one of those slow moving lazy feeling Sundays. I was up early and made a nice breakfast for everyone but I haven’t done much else. I have been walking around and nit picking at the house for the last couple of hours. Putting things away and dusting things off, tossing in a load of laundry. Stuff that needs to be done but no real work. With Gerry and Allison both gone for most of the day, I am thinking I could use more quiet time on the couch. In fact I am thinking I might even run to the video store for more Grey’s Anatomy. Maybe?

This has been one busy and complicated work week so far. I am happy to be over the hump. I sure hope things are more smooth sailing from here because I’ll be alone in the office now until Monday. 

We had a yard sale today. Even though the weatherman warned us of a really hot & humid day today and a 60% chance of rain we were still all up at 5:30am, cleaning tables, carrying boxes outside and setting everything up. I can’t believe how much work goes in to having a yard sale. We really worked our rear ends off. I even had my husband stay home all day to help. The rain held out until the afternoon but we still didn’t do very well. Oh well, I guess that’s the chance you take when you book a yard sale. I am thinking we’ll just leave the stuff we have left over tagged and boxed up and maybe try again on another weekend. Hopefully we’ll have better weather and better luck.

After an awesome fun filled weekend, it’s back to work today. Blah. Hope everyone had as nice of a holiday as we did. 

After doing a lot of running around this morning I spent the afternoon and evening trying to get rid of a headache from hell. I tried everything, sinus pills, aspirin, ib proffin, not all at once of course but through out the day. Not really the day I had in mind for myself. I think laying on the couch with Roxy and watching the Burn Notice marathon was the most effective medicine I tried all day.
