I posted early this morning about stress and how I am having a hard time dealing with it.
I have since decided that I have way too much to be happy about to be blogging about stress.

After a busy day and late night yesterday, I don’t plan on doing much today. I am showered and in my Sunday uniform, a.k.a. T-shirt and pajama bottoms.
Yesterday I spent most of the day cleaning the house and making a lasagna before my sister and her husband came over.
It was so nice to have them here. After dinner while the guys had a couple of beers and focused on our PS3, my sister and I enjoyed a couple of Cosmopolitans and chatted up a storm. It was good time that lasted past 11:00pm.
Maybe it was the Cosmopolitans but after they left I ended up popping in the third season of Sex & The City.
I was sitting up in my bed, with a face full of tears as Aidan broke up with Carrie on Charlotte’s wedding day when I realized it was after 1:00am. That’s thing about TV on DVD, it’s so easy for me to keep saying “just one more episode” and then wow look what time it is, I need to sleep. I just can’t hang like I use to.
Today is going to be nice and quiet.
Yes, even on vacation Friday is a good thing this week. Because, today is the only day of my ten days off that I am in the house ALONE.
Allison is with my mother, Bethany is with Steve and my husband is at work till 4:00pm.
I am going to do my best to not do any cleaning, cooking or laundry today, not even a dish. It can all wait until tomorrow. This is MY day for me. I am going to sit here, listen to ITunes, read blogs and catch up with my Basset Hound group for as long as I want to. I am going to shower as late in the day as I decide to, or maybe not at all. I think I might even watch an R rated movie in the middle of the day, while eating my lunch.
I know, I am a wild woman, right? What can I say, I don’t get this very often, I plan to enjoy it.
I am doing the unthinkable this morning and going out for a few last minute gifts and stocking stuffers.
Wish me luck.
Today would make a good personal day, and if you can reschedule some of your least-enjoyable tasks for another day, you should do so!
Are f’ing kidding me ?!?
You can tell the person who writes these is NOT a wife and mother.
We have what four more days utill Christmas.
My husband and I are going out to dinner tonight and to pick up the few things I am missing on my gift list. I am not missing much, two stores out to do it.
I am really looking forward to it. We haven’t been out any where just the two of us in a while. Even if it is just shopping, it’s still time alone and time out of the house.
It’s 7:30am and I am sneaking in a little computer time with my caffeine before I start my very busy day today.
It’s not like me to not find the time to blog or even return emails. I am sorry some of you have been a bit worried, there is no reason to be.
My life has just been crazy with work, the holidays, basement construction and a pregnant teenage daughter.
But on the brighter side, only one more work week left and I am on vacation for 10 days. I am so looking forward to the time off this year. So far my only real plan is for lots of R & R.
My horoscope for today tells me to “go out and buy yourself something lavish and unnecessary” .
He he he… maybe I should hit the mall on my way home today? Tell my husband I had no choice, it was in the stars.
I have bought two gifts so far and one is for myself.
I need to get with it, only 28 days left. I am such a slacker.
Hope your holiday is filled with good food, family, friends and lots of laughs!
Yay, it’s Friday!
I have a busy weekend planned this week. Tonight I am taking Allison and my nephew to our city’s Christmas parade, tomorrow Allison and I are spending the day at a pet expo and I promised my husband I would finish striping the wallpaper out of our bathroom and have it ready for paint on Sunday.
Like I said a busy weekend. You know what that means. In a blink of an eye it will be Monday morning and I’ll right back at work. Wondering how the time goes by so damn fast.
