Of course you didn’t even know I was gone. I see that my post about leaving for up north for four days some how bit the dust.
Anyway, we had a great time the past few days. We did some fishing, sat by the camp fire at night, ate BBQ and spent a day sight seeing in the Upper Peninsula.
I have to say we sure live in a beautiful state, Michigan. I posted a few photos in Flickr.
Gerry and I finally had a chance last night to watch this weeks episode of Rescue Me.
OMG! I know coming from a huge Nip Tuck fan you might not believe this when I say it but I was shocked and yelling at the TV screen at this crazy bitch. Thinking about it, I am still like Oh..My...Gawd. I can not believe she just did that! I can not believe they just showed that!
I have been on the web all morning searching for a free or cheap blog template that is good enough for my Princess’s blog.
I really thought this was going to be an easy thing. Maybe I am just not looking in the right places? If any one knows of a site offering cheap or free templates for Blogger, please let me know. Or if anyone out there is willing to help me out for under $50.00 please email or leave me a comment.
I really think my computer room needs one of these.

I am about half way into this book and loving it. I can’t remember the last time I have enjoyed a book this much. I thought I loved Roxy before, now she gets extra lovin’ with every chapter I read.
... are the devil’s spawn.
I have about dozen bites on my legs and back from holding the limbo stick during our block party Saturday night.
My whole weekend went by like a fast blur. It went so fast that I think I was robbed of a day?
I plan on getting a little R & R today. Besides some house work and laundry I plan on chillin’ right here on the computer this afternoon. I have some pictures to upload, a few songs I want to download and some blogs to read.
Gerry and I had a great date night Friday. We went to dinner and then he took me bowling for the first time. I bowled a 112, not too shabby I hear. I think I may be hooked, I am already planning on when we can go back. Also last night was our block party, where the city let us block traffic from coming down our street from 6:00pm to 12:00am. It was a blast! We guessed about 70 people. Each house pulled out their chairs, coolers and grills and we each donated a dish. We had music going, games, pinatas, horse shoes and some foot ball . A lot of the kids were happy to just play in the street and to be out so late.
It has been a great couple of days.
Happiness is when you realise that the jeans you couldn’t get your ass in last year, are now the pair you refer to as your “comfy jeans”.
Not only is today Friday, but it is also date night with my hubby and not only is it date night with my hubby but my sister is keeping Allison over night tonight.

I just bought Roxy her own domain. In hopes of keeping this one from becoming a puppy blog. I thought it would be fun to start her one of her very own.
