I can’t believe I am sale shopping for school supplies already.
Every year time is going by faster and faster I swear.

Have you ever wanted to do some thing that you know you shouldn’t? You know it could add stress to your already stressful life but it could also bring happiness. You know it’s not the “smart” thing to do at this time but it’s all you can think about because the opportunity is being handed right to you.
I mean I can count a dozen to one reasons why I shouldn’t. Yet, I can’t stop smiling when I think about it.

Today is one of those slow moving lazy feeling Sundays. I was up early and made a nice breakfast for everyone but I haven’t done much else. I have been walking around and nit picking at the house for the last couple of hours. Putting things away and dusting things off, tossing in a load of laundry. Stuff that needs to be done but no real work. With Gerry and Allison both gone for most of the day, I am thinking I could use more quiet time on the couch. In fact I am thinking I might even run to the video store for more Grey’s Anatomy. Maybe?

It’s been a nice weekend so far. I was up until after 3:00am watching the second season of Grey’s Anatomy last night. I am never awake that late, it was nice. Just me and the hound in the dark and very quiet living room. I have only four more episodes to go and I am on to season three.
There will be no quiet living room time for me tonight! Tonight the living room belongs to Allison and one of her girl friends. They are all set up and counting down to the 3D Hannah Montana concert on the Disney channel. They are both just as excited as when we saw it in the theater. They are so cute. Some times it really is fun having girls.

Don’t call me tonight because I wont answer ! I am planning on barking myself on the couch and watching the second season of Grey’s Anatomy on DVD in to the wee hours of the night. Yes, I know I am a late bloomer. I hardly ever catch on to good TV shows when everyone else is crazy for them. Even when she told me to watch, I just couldn’t get in to it. But I am digging it now. How did we ever live with out TV on DVD?

Last night Gerry and I enjoyed an evening at my daughters house. Her first time having company over. My parents and my aunt also were there to see Bethany and Steven’s new house and give Rebecca her birthday gifts. It was really nice. Strange but really nice. Strange to think my daughter is old enough to have her own house and family! She was pretty nervous about having people over for the first time but she did a great job. I left work a little early to help her out and to take care of Rebecca so she could get in a shower. We had a nice dinner and us ladies watched as the three men put together all the new toys. Yes, it took all three of them. Have you seen the toys for a one year old? Any way I think everyone there had a nice time and we left proud of both Bethany and Steven. It was a good.
