I have been feeling a lot better the last few days and then out of no where it’s all back again. My head is killing me and my stomach is sick again.
I hate this!

All I can say is wow, this last season is going to be gooood.

I work in a small office. Basically, it’s a two person office and the owner spends his time in the building. It’s a third generation machine shop. Yep, they have been in business for over 65 years and for the last ten or fifteen, not much has changed. I still use a typewriter for some of my daily updating, we use a DOS system on our network and our phones are a good 12 years old, no voice mail. Some of that is about to change! We had two companies come in to quote new phones this week. The whole package, voice mail and everything! Next I hope to sway them in to being able to accept credit cards. Back to school three weeks tomorrow and my daughter is sick already. My husband spent his evening taking her to the doctor last night for congestion, cough, sore throat and fever. While I spent my evening at the hospital getting an MRI on my head for all of the headaches I’ve been getting. The MRI was an experience. I didn’t mind being inside the machine or how loud it was. My only complaint is that I have really deep veins and most of the time I end up with a nurse that can’t find them and she or he has to go get some one else. The two that it took last night to inject me with the dye were a little scary. As I was strapped in the machine and they poked me more then three times, I could hear them saying things like how is this one, can you inject it through this because I am going to be getting blood return any second. Or my favorite, oh no this one collapsed too. After poking me up and down my arms and on the side of wrist (that one hurts) they finally got it. My follow up with my doctor is not until Tuesday to hear all of this is just stress related. But, I’ll be sure to blog about it then.

Well, Allison didn’t make the drums. I can’t lie, I feel a little relieved. The thought of my nine year old daughter practicing the drums every evening was a little frightening. She did how ever get the clarinet. Still a little scary but I think we will make it through. It’s going to be an interesting year.

I can’t believe how close we are to the holidays already. I started thinking about it the other day and decided that this year I am going to be on top of things. On my game! No more last minute details. So I have been doing some on line shopping in my spear time. I’ve actually done a lot of my gift buying already. I always start with my girls. Allison has been my easy one pretty much every year. It’s Bethany that has been a little difficult. She loves the name brands! This year when I asked her she told me she is dying for one of the new Baby Phat Jackets. That so does not surprise me. She has always been a fan of Baby Phat, purses, tops, you name it. You can find it all on line at http://www.babyphat,com. Their web site is awesome and easy to use. So, it looks like Bethany wont be so difficult this year after all. I can actually say, I am done holiday shopping for my daughters already. How cool is that! It’s only September. That’s on my game.

Well, my headache and nausea is still here. It’s been about six weeks now. In fact Monday was the worst yet. I didn’t keep any food down and my head hurt bad enough to think about going to the ER. Then, Tuesday I thought I was a little better. It’s strange because some days are better then others but it’s always still here, every day. I saw my doctor last evening and my blood work and x rays ruled out any sinus infection and Mono. That and the fact that I have been on antibiotics with out really improving. So, my next test is an MRI. I am also making an appointment with my eye doctor, it hasn’t been that long since I’ve seen him but I need to be able to rule out any new vision problems for certain. I am a little freaked out when I start thinking about what it “could” be but it’s most likely just stress. People say stress can do crazy things to your body. I don’t understand how stress can make my head hurt every day and hurt so bad some times but I sure can’t say I am not under a lot of it. I will be so relieved if it’s only stress. I told my sister yesterday, if it is I promise to take a yoga glass and start drinking more wine in the evenings. That might cure me?

After four years of living in our house just the way we bought it we are finally ready to make some changes. I have to start with scraping off the wallpaper that is in every single room. I have been talking about starting that project for over a year now. What finally got me motivated was picking out our paint colors and shopping around on line for new in style home decorating ideas. The colors we have chose are so nice and clean and modern. It’s going to be so much fun to decorate the walls.
