The radio station we listen to here at work is giving away Goo Goo Dolls and Justin Timberlake tickets all week.
It is my mission to win a pair to one of them!

I think this movie looks really good, one I defiantly want to see on the big screen.
I am in love with this man’s voice.
As I type this entry, my husband is out dancing and living it up with his best girl.

If you can stand all the sweetness, lots more photos on Flickr!
Having my girls so far apart (12 yrs), I have been a mother with at least one child in school for over fourteen years now.
Finally it happened! A report card came home with near perfect markings and a big fat check mark in the box that reads “no conference needed at this time”.
Yes! This must be how Charlie felt when he opened up that Wonka Bar and saw that golden ticket.

Well, my daughter showed up a little too late for us to see the movie Friday night. So we ended up renting a few movies instead.
Two duds and one we really liked.
Then we spent all day yesterday, hanging out, shopping, getting locked out of my car but not really and getting pulled over.
These things could only happen to me.
We stood in the dollar store parking lot, in 4 degree weather, on hold with AAA on my half a cell left cell phone for ten minutes in a panic before realizing I was trying to use the wrong key to open my car door. Where was my magic clicker that I have always used? I took it off my keyring so when I start my car in the cold mornings I wont get locked out and of course I some how misplaced it.
Finally back in the car I realized I was out of money and had only ten minutes before the bank closes at noon.
Bethany says to me, drive fast mom, you can make it, we’re not far.
Em, it was close. The cop wrote me out my speeding ticket in the parking lot next to the bank at 12:05. That’s when I called it a day and we came home for lunch.
Some how we still had fun though and I did come home with a big bag of new clothes which is the important thing.
Today, the girls and I are going to visit with my girlfriend and her daughters for a while before making dinner and then there will be card playing with junk food bets while we watch The Puppy Bowl.
I am so excited, I have a date with my daughter tonight. We have plans to hang out and go to a movie. And now that she is working, the popcorn is on her. Bonus!
It’s strange some times having a daughter almost twenty years old. I spent all those years wanting and pushing her to grow up and then one day I woke up and she is living with her boyfriend and has a baby on the way and I miss her like crazy.
My husband puts a cup of coffee in the microwave everyday as soon as he walks in from work. Yesterday he missed a loaf of bread that I left in there and walked away after hitting start. The smell was so bad and the plastic is cooked on the walls to no return.
Guess who will be shopping at Sears this weekend for a new one?
