I can remember not too long ago if you would have asked me how many shows I watch; my answer would have been very little, two or three tops. Now thanks to a year of digital cable with a DVR, I have transformed in to a T.V. junky.
Now, my list goes some thing like this; Boston Legal, Nip Tuck, CSI:NY, Brothers & Sisters, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Smallville, 24 and some times Law & Order. And thats not counting daytime reruns like Charmed once in a while.

Damn, no wonder my house is so messy and my blogs have been neglected.

I am taking my daughter to her monthly check up this evening.

Even though she is in no way ready to be a mother, I am starting to get use to the idea of having a baby around. I just keep reminding myself that everything will be okay and how many people she has that love her and will be around to help.

Our OB has a small ultrasound machine in her office and is planning on using it this visit. It would be great if she can tell us the sex of the baby already. We all have our fingers crossed for a boy.

Of course it goes with out saying that all that matters is that the baby is healthy, boy or girl.

*update* We had to reschedule for next week, the doctor had to leave to deliver a baby. So no news yet.

I’ve been feeling kind of moody and down in the dumps lately.
Feeling fat and yucky about myself.
So I made a hair appointment at a new salon for Saturday afternoon, think I’ll try something different then the same old boring cut. I spent all this time growing my hair out and have no idea what the heck to do with it. I sure hope this lady has a clue.

Any one else plan to enjoy a Paczki today?
I bought a strawberry filled one to eat during my morning break.
And I am not letting myself feel guilty about it either.

Hollywoodland
Interesting story, very well acted but it must have been too slow for me, I fell asleep.

Running With Scissors
I thought the book was way over rated but agreed to watch this with Bethany.  I have to admit that I enjoyed the film more then the book. Talented Annette Bening was cast perfect as Deirdre Burroughs.

Babel
An amazing display of talent. One of the best thinking films I have seen. I love a movie that keeps me thinking long after it’s over.

Allison has had an upset stomach for over a week now but she has been feeling fine otherwise. Until late last night when I found her crying in the bathroom and spewing from both ends. After cleaning her up and tucking her back in bed, I woke up to the same crying two hours later and this time she yelled for me because she said she couldn’t see anything when she stood up. Freaked me out! So, I cleaned us both up and headed to the ER.
They put her on an IV for dehydration and took blood right away, then sent her for X-rays to make sure her appendices were fine. All important tests came back clean except her urine, which showed infection. So, basically it’s the flu with a urinary track infection. She was so brave, as scared as she was there were no tears when she saw the needles coming.

Now if I can get her to rest today and take the antibiotic with out tears, we’ll be all set.
Momma, needs a nap.

Another one I really want to see on the big screen.
I have never been much of a Sandra Bullock fan but this one looks really good.
And no, not just because it stars Julian McMahon .
