God bless the DVR when your sick! I spent most of the day on the couch yesterday, feeling like I was hit by a truck. At least I had a butt load of stuff recorded to catch up on. One show I forgot that I had set to record is The Black Donnellys’.  Gerry and I ended up watching all four episodes and really liking them.
I hope this show makes it, I always seem to fall for the underdogs of TV shows and then they get canceled.
If you want to give a look, the NBC website lets you watch full episodes online starting with the pilot.

I can’t stop coughing.
It hurts to talk, hurts to swallow, even hurts to look at the computer screen.
I am going back to bed.

First my husband called today on his lunch break to let me know he’s thinking about me and he loves me. Now my daughter just IM’ed me just to say she loves me.

What’s up, am I dying or something? Really, I am not that lovable.

I have been out of my parents house for over fifteen years.  But only over the past three years have I owned a dishwasher.  Let me tell you, since owning this miracle machine if some thing is not dishwasher safe it has no place in my kitchen. Might as well pitch it. Because to get out my sponge and dish soap now is like pulling teeth. I just washed a set of measuring spoons last night that has been moved from one side of my sink to other for about a week now. I even had thoughts of throwing them away, telling myself I don’t really cook or bake that much so I wont miss them or I’ll just pick up another set that is dishwasher safe. How lazy is that ?

I went to bed last night next to my husband and couldn’t help but think about how lucky I am. I am so happy to be married to such a great guy. I can’t even imagine my life if I were single these days.  I hear people my age talk about trying to meet some one and it does not sound fun.

I know a few women who have met their boyfriends online, which sounds really scary to me. When they told me that’s where they met, I was shocked. I have always thought of those websites as a scam and that they really just want your money. I guess I was wrong.
From what I hear, Just Say Hi is the place to go. And it’s free! I still thank God I am not single but I guess if I was, this website would be a fun place to meet others.
