I feel so left out, so alone.
I haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books. I did enjoy the first film but have yet to watch the others.

My eight year old daughter Allison has two girl friends over to play Wii this evening. They have been spending their time creating ugly, freaky, and girlie looking boy Mii ‘s and naming them after boys that they know. They are laughing so hard and loud you would think I have a dozen girls in my living room right now. I just heard one say “after we make him we can torture and destroy him” !
Should I should be worried?

After reading about it on my sister’s site, I downloaded the Alexa Toolbar.  I am so glad I did. I really like it. I love all the facts and info it gives me about each page I am viewing. And if you are keeping track, it can also can improve your web score and traffic.

You can see for self and download it here.

My husband has plans to meet up with some ex coworkers this Saturday night. While he does that I plan on taking over the living room in my PJ’s, with a bowl of popcorn and season two of Weeds.

I am so excited, I feel like I have been waiting for season two to come out on DVD forever.

As tired as I am, I wouldn’t trade these last few days with my daughter and granddaughter for anything.

Good choice CBS! I love Drew Carey. After all the media fuss, I think he is the best man for the job.

****STICKY POST****

One of my favorite bloggers and on line friends is doing what he can to make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
Currently over 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease. I know my family has been directly effected by this devastating disease, and from I just read unless we find a way to change the course, 16 million Americans could have Alzheimer’s by 2050.
So if you feel you can help out my man Vito to hit his fund raising goal, please pay a visit to his donation page.
There is no donation too small or too big!

Been up since before dawn, up as in off the couch and out of the living room I don’t think there was ever really a down time for more then 20 minutes last night. Not that I am complaining. I am happy to let my daughter get the rest she needs while she can. Tomorrow I am back to work and then Tuesday she and the baby are going home. The house is going to feel so empty when they leave. At least I am only a phone call and about fifteen minutes away.

I took the first night shift last night with Rebecca so my daughter could get some much needed rest. First let me tell you, my granddaughter can hang ! About 2:30, 3:00am she gave me a look that said, hey grams whats up, all wide eyed and bright. Then she decided to really kick it and stay awake till 5:00am this morning. At that time Bethany wanted to be up for a while so I handed her over and took my sorry self to bed for a while. I am with out a doubt feeling my age this morning.

BUT, oh my goodness is she the sweetest little thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are headed your way!

Yep, in April Gerry, Allison and I will be tagging along with my mom and step dad to visit some friends in London for a week.
I am pretty excited about it.

We will be staying with a good friend of my mom. Her and her husband have a very large house and have offered it up for the week. So that will cut any hotel and some of our meal cost. How nice is that! They are not only super nice but a very fun couple to spend time with, so I know it will be a great week. And from the emails I have read, they are just as excited to have us as we are to be going. Allison as been some what of pen pal with their granddaughter but I never really thought they would have a chance to ever meet. She is going to be so excited.
