Allison and I spent the first half of today at the mall. We had a great time back to school shopping and even had our nails done, I had a pedicure and she a manicure. She looked so sweet and grown up sitting there all still and mature while her nails were being painted. Times like that I wish I had a camera phone.

I spent the the second half of the day helping Bethany with the baby and trying to pack and get every thing ready for Gerry and I to leave in the morning for up north. We wont be coming home until Monday evening. I am so excited to have some alone time with my husband. The drive it’s self is a good five hours. We haven’t been alone for more then 30 minutes, and both been awake in over four months. I mean we can go upstairs and close our door but it’s a small house and so not the same as being alone.

Time to shower, finish packing and try to get some sleep, five in the morning gets here real quick.
Hope every one has a great Labor Day weekend!

A great big hug and thanks to my sister for taking Allison this weekend and giving us this chance to get away. We really need it. Thanks Sis!

I am so happy to be home today. I swear the best vacation days are the ones spent right here with my family.

I was up bright an early this morning taking care of Rebecca’s bottles and making breakfast. Sat on the porch for a few minutes with Gerry while he had his coffee and have taken far too many photos of Rebecca already and it’s only 11:30am.

I still have the whole day a head of me. I think after lunch and Rebecca’s nap, we are all headed to the park for a bit. All as in Allison, Roxy, Rebecca and myself. It should be fun.

If there is one thing I feel that I know about, it is candles. I have been addicted for years. I believe, a girl like me could never, ever have too many. I have a large box that sits on the floor in my closet that is full most of the time. I would have to say that over the past year or two, at least half of my candles have been Soy Candles. If you are any thing like me and you like to buy them in large numbers then you already know the best way to do that is to purchase Wholesale Soy Candles on line. Caterpillarscandles.com is a great web site to help you do just that. I found it to be very customer friendly and very easy to browse their wide verity of scents, styles and sizes. One thing that really impressed me at caterpillarscandles.com is their beautiful color photos of each of the products I searched for. Because when I shop on line, I like to get a good look at what I am buying before I pay for it. I have to say caterpillarscandles.com won me over on my first visit.

Since I am on vacation the five days, I have my granddaughter over tonight and spending the day with me tomorrow while her mom works.
She just keeps getting prettier and prettier every time I see her.

For years now I have been passing by those Christmas tree lots and wanting a real Christmas tree for our family. There’s nothing like a real tree to give your house that warm holiday feeling. But with my little car, I have no way to get the tree home if I did purchase one. Every year as the holiday season ends and we take down our artificial tree, I say, next year we are getting a real tree. I’ll find a way.
I had no idea that there is such a thing as Christmas tree farm, they sell Trees, Wreaths, Garland, and Swag made from Pine, Fir, and Blue Spruce and the best part, you get them delivered right to your door. If only I would have known about Christmas tree farm and their nice selection years ago. My family would have been enjoying a real Christmas tree every year.

I totally cried!
As soon as I heard the words “you are who I am fighting for and you are who I am coming home to” I cried like a baby.
I am really going to miss these characters while waiting for season two. It’s not very often that I enjoy every episode of a show this much.

So far today has been a much better day then yesterday. Just knowing this is a short week (off thursday - tuesday) and that Gerry and I are heading up north this weekend just the two of us, has put me in a good mood.

I really don’t understand the whole Google ranking system. I am sure you, my readers have noticed that I have been trying to add a little to our income by posting paid ads here on my blog. I have been using PayPerPost, which I really like. But they go by your Alexa and Google rankings to determine which ads you can post about. The better your rankings, the better the pay.
Well, some how my Google ranking went from a 3 to a 2 over the last week. Which is really frustrating because I now have less opportunity to make money with PayPerPost.
So, if any one has any suggestions on how I can raise my Google rank I would greatly appreciate it.

What a beautiful morning. After days of rain and storms, it’s sunny and in the mid 70’s. It feels so good to have the windows open again. Makes me want to clean and hang out around the house. Maybe even walk the dog.
