imageMy lovely friend, Allison presented me with this nice award a couple of days ago. I have known Allison for years now, I am sure it’s been at least five. In fact she was one of my very first on line friends, my first blogging buddy and my first IM chat. At one point she was even my blog host. She is one of the sweetest women in blog-ville.

The point of this award is to pass it on to three other nice bloggers, so here goes,

First I want to pass this “Nice Matters Award” on to my sister. Who not only is a loving sister but a great friend. I am very lucky to have her in my life. She is also the person who introduced me to blogging. Way to go Sis! If you are not reading Neptunebaby already, she is defiantly one to add to your blog-roll.

I am also passing this award to Hip Momma. Who throughout the years has always been right here, leaving me such nice and supportive comments every time I needed them. If you don’t know her, let me warn you before you go there, she is not only hip but smokin’ HOT. And one fine good momma too.

Also I am passing this “Nice Matters Award” on to Deana, you talk about HOT, this woman is just as beautiful on the inside as she is the out side. She is super sweet and shares so much of herself with us through her blog that at times I feel like I am right there with her and her beautiful family. She is also one very talented photographer.

I have to add, I feel very lucky to have such nice on line friends that it was a chore to pick only three to pass this award on to.
I sure could have kept on going.

I did a little shopping on my home from work today. I came home with three pairs of pants, two tops and a couple of unmentionables. All for $103.00! I love this time of year.

Does anyone else think this is just a clever ad for paperless-billing?
Her blog only goes back to January, and has a very pretty company paid for kind of feel to me. I am thinking all this hype was a plan from the start.

Of course I could be wrong? Great URL for a blog.

Mark Romanek’s remake of The Wolf Man starring Benicio Del Toro will begin filming in December in London.

Oh my gosh, you mean I am going to miss him by four months ! Damn! Maybe the filming will be delayed? I can dream. Wouldn’t that be cool.
You’ll be reading about me in the papers, crazy American lady on holiday with her family is arrested for sneaking on a London movie set and stalking actor Benicio Del Toro.
Oh, my parents and husband would be so proud.

Every morning when I get in the office, I sit at my desk and spend at least ten minutes drinking Dt. Coke and logging in, logging in to our office network, logging in to Windows, then logging in to my Gmail, my Yahoo mail, Twitter, Flickr, Vox and Expression Engine. Then most days, I sit here and try to look some what serious as I surf the web for about twenty minutes for any new news I might have missed while alseep the night before.
Once in a while I have days like today, where I am pretty much alone in the office, then I become a real slacker. I have been here just over an hour and haven’t done a damn thing but read my sisters blog to see how she is doing this morning and surfed for any new spoilers on the fifth season of Nip Tuck.
God bless the inter net! What would life be like with out it? I might actually be working right now. Scary.

Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go read my horoscope on four different websites, another morning ritual I have. Surely one of them has some thing good to say .

I took Allison out for dinner and a movie last night. We ate at Chili’s and then saw Underdog, both her choices. We had a great time, laughed almost the whole time we were gone. It felt so good to spend time together, just the two of us. She really is a great kid and I have been so busy working and helping Bethany with the baby that she has been feeling a little left out lately. Last night was just what we both needed.

As for the movie, I don’t see it winning any Oscars or any thing, but listening to Allison laugh for 90 minutes and then talk about how much she loved it on the car ride home made it a winner with me.
