Tonight Allison and I sat upstairs on my bed for about an hour and started reading THE book, The Care & Keeping of You: The Body Book for Girls . It seems to be a good book and going very well so far. The book is nice easy reading so little girls can help read it. I think this has been good for Allison because she has been reading with pride and a smile on her face. So far, we have read about taking care of your hair, skin and teeth in the first half. We covered under arms and then decided to stop for the night after breast size and bra shopping. Okay, I decided to stop there and drag my feet a little at what topics are coming in the second half. I can’t help it, my stomach has butterflies just thinking about it. I can tell myself this is all natural and such an important education and it’s much better coming from her mother then a teacher or God forbid one of her little friends but man it’s not all easy.

More Wordless Wednesday.

My husband and I have plans to start working on our house this winter. It needs some serious updating in almost every room. One thing we plan on doing is adding some laundry room cabinets. Some thing like this would work out great. We have the perfect corner and right now it is filled with nothing but clutter. I would much rather see it filled with nice cabinets to keep things organized .
