I keep praying that my daughter will get her life together. Not just for her, not just for me but for Rebecca of course. (see family stress)
But there are no signs of her doing that as of yet. She just called me at work to let me know she has to spend the night again because Steve, her boyfriend and Rebecca’s so called Daddy told her he is so mad at her she is not allowed to come home.

See, if this was me, that right there would push me over the edge and I would be so done with the ass hole. But because I know my daughter and this has been going on for years, I can tell by hear voice that she is no where near that point. So again, I am sitting here at work dreading to go home to my own house.

This feeling is one of the reasons Gerry and I need a place to really get away from it all, I just don’t know if I can wait until after the winter to use it. Maybe we can find a place to park our new trailer and use it for the winter? I would so NOT tell any one where it is either. Ha, if only.

Gerry and I have been going to my parents place up north for ten years now. We love it up there and the kids love it so much that we have been talking about getting some thing of our own for about four years. Well this year we decided to just do it. Gerry went to the bank and with no problems we were approved for the loan. This past week I have looked at so many travel trailers my head is spinning. It started out so simple, but once you start looking there is always some thing better out there to look for. Well, I think we now have it narrowed down to three and we just have to make our choice and then Gerry can pulled up there and winterize it.
I am so excited, with my mother in law moving in with us and all of Bethany’s relationship drama I am so ready to have a place of our own we can just get in the car and drive to to get away from it all.

Yesterday we spent most of the day helping out at my sister’s new new house. Even though I don’t feel that I did all that much work, there sure was a lot going on. I forgot just how much really goes in to moving. I am really happy for her and her family. Their house is really nice and in a great neighborhood for the kids.

Congratulations Sis ! I am looking forward to sharing in lots of good times with you in your new home.

I stole the idea for the URL and title from her, and started blogging about all the silly movies, music and television that I like. I felt being a 37 year old fan of High School Musical, Smallville and reruns of 90210 that I needed a place other then this blog to let it all out.

At what age did you have “the talk” with your kids? Did you buy a book, or did you just wing it? And how did you know it was time?

I am thinking it is time to talk to Allison. I know she is only eight but I noticed a change in her breast size and moods over the last few months and now I think I saw pubic hair when she stepped out of the shower, (oh my god, did I just type that out loud?)
I have to be honest I am little freaked out by all of this. She is only eight! I don’t want to rush things or say something wrong but I also don’t want her freaked out by own body and not understand what is happening. I am not ready for any of this.

Daily BS

I know it was only a four day work week but I am sooo glad today is Friday.
I have been having a hard time sleeping over the past few nights and a real hard time getting up for work. Last night Roxy woke me up by barking to go out side at about 1:00am and then wanted to play around instead of sleeping. I bet I didn’t fall back alseep for over an hour.  When my alarm went off at 5:30am I felt like I just blinked.
Anyway, thank God it’s Friday.

You can never have enough “geeky toys” and over at Kristofers Blog there is a give away going on for one of the cutest geeky toys ever!
It’s a Star Wars R2-D2 Mimobot 1Gig USB Flash Drive, and he includes the Protohoodie protective carrying case/keychain.

Is he not by far too cute? I feel like I need to have him! And how cool is it that kristofer is willing to give him away.
