My uncle has been trying to talk us in to moving to Florida for a couple of years now. He keeps telling Gerry how easy it would be for us to move down there and for Gerry to start his own business. Of course I would love to just pack up and do it. I love the thought of moving to such a sunny state and living that close to the ocean would be so nice for the entire family. But there is also a lot to consider. Like selling our house here in Michigan and researching mortgages, and fixed mortgages and a new home shop for. Of course if he is going to start his new business we also need to research loans to get him going. All such important things to think about but also completely doable.

I don’t understand how these things break. It was fine in the morning and then in the afternoon just snapped off. I didn’t hit it or struggled with it at all, the knob just broke in two. ???

Well the men are on the road. I was up early this morning to drop Gerry off with my dad. It was kind of nice though, seeing my two favorite men so happy as they head out together to fish, fish and more fish for the next few days.

Gerry leaves the house tomorrow morning at 6:00am for a fishing trip he takes every year with my dad and five other men. They drive all the way to Canada to eat, sleep and fish for four days. Rain or shine! I can’t even imagine the appeal of this. But he loves it and looks forward to it every year. With him starting a new job this year he wasn’t so sure he would be able to go.
