My beautiful Spider Queen
I swiped this from Allison. Looks like the perfect girls night out movie.
Yep, this one has mine, my sisters and my daughters name all over it!
I just learned a very important lesson. I learned this evening that grocery shopping the day before Halloween is the same nightmare as shopping the day before Thanksgiving. I had to fight my way through the crowned store to get the few items on my list and then stand in a really long ass line to pay for them. It took me over an hour! What the heck? Since when do people flock to the stores the day before Halloween? It’s the one holiday you really only need to buy one thing for, candy.
Remember all the new job for my husband drama I was blogging about ? We thought maybe after my husband put all of his cards out on the table it was all over with. Well I guess not. They called this morning to ask if they meet all of his demands and put it in writing, would he be “for sure” taking the job. Of course he said yes he would. The guy told him to call back tomorrow after he talks it over with the owner.
I am trying not to get too excited, it’s not a done deal yet. Things can still change but it sounds like I just might be getting my husband back home in the evenings soon and off of this second shift. I can not wait until tomorrow and we know for sure.
Oh, I hope am not jinxing anything by blogging about it.
Tomorrow is going to be much better than today. How do I know this? Because tomorrow is the day ! The day my doctors are back on call every week.
This time tomorrow night I will be at my sisters house enjoying a drink or two while we wait for season five of Nip /Tuck to start.
We both have the next day, Halloween off so there will be no rushing home to sleep. I can stay up and party like a real grown up, ha ha . It’s going to be a good time!
I know that title has been way over used but it sure describes my day today. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and that is just how it went, all freaking day. I was super busy at work with customer issues and to top it off I had computer and printer problems. I had to call in our computer tech guy who took up my computer most of the afternoon while I watched the work pile up on my desk. Thankfully by the end of the day I was able to compute and print again.
More Monday proof,
Tonight was Brownie meeting night so I rushed through dinner and ran her there just in time to walk my daughter in and be the only girl not wearing her Halloween costume. At first she shrugged her shoulders and said oh well. That lasted about a second and her face turned red and she looked like she was going to cry so I ran back home and grabbed her costume and drove it back. I felt so bad. But ya know, that is just how my day was today. A real Monday.
Now I am going to snuggle under my favorite blanket on the couch and last nights episode of Brothers & Sisters, a show I absolutely love.
