Bitching

This has not been a good day!
Infact so far it has been one of the worst I have had in a long time. I hate it when a day starts out bad and only gets worse.  It’s like everything I touch either is wrong or has issues so far. I really need to go back to bed until tomorrow.

My eight year old daughter is addicted to Webkins.com. She has three Webkinz so far and it’s all she talks about and all she wants to do with her free time.
It’s driving me a bit crazy. Tonight when I made her log off for dinner, she actually had tears on her face because Sophie, one of her dogs is sick and needs to see a doctor. Since I made her log off right this minute, it’s all my fault if Sophi never, ever gets better.

I am in Webkinz hell !

I guess all the finger crossing, emails and prayers didn’t matter this time.
The offer my husband received today was for him to take on more responsibility, setting up and running a new department for this new company but at three dollars less an hour then what he is making now.
I just don’t see that as some thing good for us right now. I am so disappointed. Oh well, maybe they will contact him with a bigger number down the road? If not, it just wasn’t meant to be.

"There is a huge risk of overreacting today”

Duh, that’s a give in. Do the stars not know who they are talking about here?

Gerry’s meeting I blogged about in my last post was moved to tomorrow at noon. So I am asking every one to keep em crossed until then.
I’ll be on pins and nettles until he calls me tomorrow at work. Not knowing is killing me. This could mean big things for our future and bring him back home at night with us where he belongs.

Right now as I type this my husband is at a sit down meeting (his third) hashing out an offer from a new company. To help set and run a new department. This new job is much closer to home and would put him back on the day shift and home in the evenings with us where I want him. It also sounds like a little more money with a yearly contracted raise and better benefits.
I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am just keeping my fingers crossed until I hear from him and that what ever decision he makes this morning, it’s the right one and he never regrets it.

We had the best weekend. A nice drive out, a great visit with good friends and beautiful weather.  It was a weekend that needs repeating some time in the near future.

I’ll have a weekend picture post some time tonight.

Gerry, Allison and I are about to get in the car to go visit some friends for the rest of the weekend. This could not happen fast enough for me. Our house is a mad house this morning. Babies crying, dogs barking, people every where. I can’t find a quiet place to blog to save my life. Even though I love all of who is making me crazy this morning, some times you really just need to get away.

Things are much better now then they were this morning. We had a tech guy show up and fix our computer with in an hour. Great guy and great service.
I made plans to pickup my nephew this evening so he and Allison can share dinner and a movie AND the best part is I heard back from Allison’s teacher about the home work I threw away.

Here is how it went via email;

Good morning,

I am emailing you to let you know I made a mistake and threw away Allison’s globe test. I am trying not to take away her responsibility for leaving it on our dinner room table so long but I did pick it up with other papers and threw them all away. Is there any way she can redo it over the weekend?

Also, can you tell me when a progress report will be coming home? I am really wondering how she is doing so far this year.

Thank you,
Jennifer

Hello!

No problem about the test!  We all make mistakes. ☺ Since I know you saw it, there is no need for her to re-do the test.  Allison is doing a really good job academically so far this year.  She is meet all expectations in all subjects.  I am really proud of her and how she tries her best!!!  She still talks a little more than I would like, but she has gotten much better at figuring out when it is appropriate to talk and work with others.  Give her a big hug and let her know how well she is doing!!!!  ☺

Sincerely,

Mrs. Quisenberry
