We had the best weekend. A nice drive out, a great visit with good friends and beautiful weather.  It was a weekend that needs repeating some time in the near future.

Gerry, Allison and I are about to get in the car to go visit some friends for the rest of the weekend. This could not happen fast enough for me. Our house is a mad house this morning. Babies crying, dogs barking, people every where. I can’t find a quiet place to blog to save my life. Even though I love all of who is making me crazy this morning, some times you really just need to get away.

Things are much better now then they were this morning. We had a tech guy show up and fix our computer with in an hour. Great guy and great service.
I made plans to pickup my nephew this evening so he and Allison can share dinner and a movie AND the best part is I heard back from Allison’s teacher about the home work I threw away.

Here is how it went via email;

Good morning,

I am emailing you to let you know I made a mistake and threw away Allison’s globe test. I am trying not to take away her responsibility for leaving it on our dinner room table so long but I did pick it up with other papers and threw them all away. Is there any way she can redo it over the weekend?

Also, can you tell me when a progress report will be coming home? I am really wondering how she is doing so far this year.

No problem about the test!  We all make mistakes. ☺ Since I know you saw it, there is no need for her to re-do the test.  Allison is doing a really good job academically so far this year.  She is meet all expectations in all subjects.  I am really proud of her and how she tries her best!!!  She still talks a little more than I would like, but she has gotten much better at figuring out when it is appropriate to talk and work with others.  Give her a big hug and let her know how well she is doing!!!!  ☺

If ever there has been a Friday I will be happy to see end, it is today.
First I really jinxed myself last night with my last post. I over slept big time. I woke up ten minutes before I was suppose to leave. I hate to be late!
Allison was in a panic this morning searching for home work that was suppose to be signed and returned to class but I threw it away. Then when I walked in the office I was told we are having major computer problems as in they are down, as in they wont work at all. They think it might be do to the new scanner, copier / printer that I installed the day before yesterday.
It’s a good think I don’t ever drink my lunch because today would be the day I drank myself in to an alcohol induced coma.

I am sitting here trying to make myself go to bed. Every day this week I have hit the snooze button a few too many times and have been running late. I hate it when I have to rush.
I really don’t know what happened to me, I use to be such a morning person. I use to be up and ready for the day early, before it was time to get the kids up for school and in a good mood doing it
I have even been told lately that I am really mean and bitchy in the mornings by Bethany. In fact not that long ago she told me she missed the way I use to play music in the mornings and have the blinds open so early. She said I was much happier then. Now I am hitting snooze and begging for more time. Hmmm, must be my age. I just can’t hang like I used to.

I am really looking forward to T.V. tonight. This is my night of the week to curl up, forget about any stress I have and giggle before going to bed. I swear I sleep better on Thursday nights then any other night of the week because of it.

Tonight should be a lot of fun to, Steve Buscemi, who I a big fan of is guest staring on 30 Rock and then we get another full hour of The Office. The only thing missing is Scrubs, only one more week and I am back to my favorite Thursday night line up !

Allison and I had so much fun Halloween shopping that we didn’t make it to get her hair cut or the other shopping I needed to get done. So it looks like we will be out and about again this evening. I really don’t mind, we had a blast last night. We goofed off at three different Halloween shops before dinner. Allison came home with two rubber bloody hands and one fake ugly rat. Yuck, I sure do not know where she gets her love for the this stuff.
