Soap Net is showing the first season of October Road today starting at noon. I already have my DVR set because I have plans to leave this afternoon. There was a lot I missed of the first season but what I saw I really liked so this is perfect timing before the new season starts on Monday night.

I have been glued to Ebay the last few days. The thing with Ebay is that once I start buying or even selling, I want to just keep doing it. I swear it’s like an addiction. This time I have been Christmas shopping and and shopping for Allison’s new bedroom. I found a few really good “buy it now” deals already this morning. At this rate I’ll be done Christmas shopping before the weekend is up.

I have been to most areas of Florida on vacation over the years. One town I still would still love to visit some time is St. Augustine. St. Augustine, Florida, is home to many artists and art-lovers and what I have heard it is really a great experience.St. Augustine Artwalk is known all over the country as amazing display of talent.
It’s all about music and art in America’s oldest city on the first Weekend of every month. The art galleries of St. Augustine sponsor FREE, self guided monthly Artwalks, featuring the finest collection of eclectic art in North Florida. Free parking and free Sightseeing Train and Trolley tours are also available. You can explore whatever type of art tickles your fancy: from painting to photography, architecture, music and more.

First Friday Artwalk Weekends is one of St. Augustine’s most popular cultural events on the first Friday and Saturday of every month from 5 to 9pm. You will enjoy all the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at over 20 participating galleries. Tours begin at Rembrandtz Fine Gifts for Fun People, 131 King Street. St. Augustine. The even have Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys that offer attendees a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries. Shuttles run on a continuous loop every 30 minutes for your convenience. America’s oldest city sounds like a wonderful place to visit to me.

We saw an Art Van commercial last night advertising half off all queen and king size mattresses. Because we just purchased a king set less then a week ago I called our sales lady today all prepared to fight a good fight to credit our account to match the sale. She was really cool and told me she already had us covered and took a $1000.00 off our bill yesterday. Yay!
It’s nice to know she had our back, even before I called. That’s not always the case when it comes to saving money.

Evan Almighty,
Allison and I just watched this while eating lunch and both really liked it. It’s a great movie for the whole family and so worth the cost of renting it. Of course if you read my blog regularly then you already know how much I LOVE Steve Carell.
Make sure you stick it out and watch the credits, my daughter and I haven’t laughed that hard at the same thing in a while.

Fracture,
Gerry and I stumbled on this movie when looking for some thing to watch late Wednesday night. It was much better then I expected. Definitely worth renting.

My “me day” is going pretty good so far. I was up early to shop on line and see Gerry off to work and since then I have napped on the couch and watched three or four T.V. shows I had saved on my DVR. I am about to go out in my PJ’s and drop off a bank deposit through the drive through and maybe pick up some lunch. When I get back I am checking out the new releases on Payperview, maybe I can find a good movie to watch before my time is up.
