T.G.I.W. is even better then T.G.I.F. because it means the weekend starts NOW, even if it is Wednesday. I mean who doesn’t like a four day weekend, right?
My husband and I have big plans on getting drunk tonight in kind of a celebration of getting ourselves back in to debt. More like a freaking out drinking then a celebration. But hey we’ll all be sleeping in style soon. I still can’t believe we bought a set for us too!
The furniture is being delivered on Dec 8 Th, plenty of time to get both rooms ready and remove the old furniture. Oh, I am so excited!

We just walked in from shopping the big Art Van Pre-Thanksgiving two day sale. We ended up spending a lot more then I made on Payper Post. We bought Allison a much nicer and better made bedroom set and even upgraded her to a full size bed. This set should last her a lot of years. I was really surprised at the set I had picked out on line and how young and cheap it looked when we got there. Almost like toddler furniture. Then we wondered over to the bedroom sets for us and ended up picking one out. I’ve never had a nice bedroom set, only hand me downs. I LOVE the set we agreed on, just love it. Together it was a lot more then we probaly should have spent but we did it. Now I just have to keep up with Payper Post and help my husband pay it all off.
With no money down, no interest for five years and they pay the sales tax we got a very good deal. But it is still a heck of a lot of money. I’ll have to post before and after photos of both rooms as soon as it’s all delivered. I am so excited!

Sounds yummy but any one who was a teenager in the 80’s knows why this one made me smile, right?

I did it ! This morning I hit my goal of $1100.00 dollars using Pay Per Post to purchase new bedroom furniture for my daughter and I did it just in time for Christmas.I feel like crying, it was so hard not to touch any of the money as it sat in my PayPal account over the last few months. I had to keep reminding my self how much I want to give my daughter a beautiful bedroom. And I did it !

I am really looking forward to a short week this week. I am planning on cleaning the house and finishing up all of our laundry tonight so it’s all done and out of the way. We have plans this year to eat Thanksgiving dinner at my mom’s house then on Friday I am planning a day in my PJ’s. I am making a trip to the video store and the book store and I am determined to spend the day on our couch. No house work, no driving kids around, no nothing. I wont even have to cook thanks to holiday left overs. Mom’s on vacation for one day!

My daughter Allison is grounded, she even missed Brownies tonight. She brought home a note today saying that she was talking too much in class. Her fifth so far this year! She has been a perfect student in every other way, grades and behavior. She just can’t seem to stop talking.

I have no idea where in the world she gets it from.
LOL.... says her mother who was called a “social butterfly” or “ a real chatter box” on every school report card and who still talks way too much.

I just bought tickets to take my sister out for her birthday. The tickets are to see a singer we both really like and I am planning a nice dinner before the show. Just like a real date. It’s not until February but I am really looking forward to it. It’s been along time since we had a nice sister night out on the town.

What a full day ! We had two family parties today. First a birthday party for my aunt, whom I adore and then we went straight to my step dad’s retirement party. Both were a good time and filled with food and yummy cake. I of course had my share of cake at both parties. I mean you can’t attend a party and not have cake, right? They were both very good. Now if my sugar buzz ever wears off I need to get some sleep. I can’t believe tomorrow is Monday already.
