I don’t mean to brag, yeah right, of course I do!

Allison brought home her report card today, I just opened it after dinner and had to call her down stairs for a talking to. It is just about perfect! My girl scored an almost perfect report card. And the section that holds the boxes to be checked for a parent teacher conference, NO CHECK, a big fat smiley face is drawn in by the teacher at the top of the page ! How flipping cool is that ?!

I think this deserves a trip to Hallmark tomorrow for a new Webkin!

Tonight is my husbands last night working second shift ! He starts his new job Monday morning at 8:00am. We are talking about going out tomorrow night to celebrate. Maybe a nice dinner, maybe an early movie first, I am even thinking of booking us a room. I mentioned it to him this morning and he said go for it. Now I just need to find one I want to book.

I booked us a really nice jacuzzi room in a hotel not too far away. Yay !

My shop decided to shut down tomorrow because we have been so slow. Not really a good thing but being sick I can really use a day off to rest. I think I’ll make a grocery run and maybe even stop in at the video store tonight after Allison goes to sleep. That way I can spend my day off in bed fighting off this sinus and ear infection and maybe feel better for the weekend.

This is the second time in less then six weeks my mom is with out a phone because people are stealing the phone wire and selling it for the copper. The phone company said there is nothing they can do to stop it from happening again and again, all they can do is to keep replacing it. This time they have to wait over a week. Thank goodness she has a cell phone.

I seriously could use a drink right now. Some thing yummy, like a Cosmo or even a frozen daiquiri. I guess I need to stop at the store on my home from work tomorrow so if I still have this feeling on Friday, I’ll actually have the goods in the house.

Oh crap, I wonder if I can have a few drinks while I am on this antibiotic? I hope so.

What a great idea !
Now I wont have to go in and try to find some one who speaks English to help with directions when I am lost any more.

Gasoline pump maker Gilbarco Veeder-Root on Wednesday unveiled a new service that lets drivers use Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Maps at the pump to get directions to destinations chosen by gas station owners.
The service, unveiled at the National Association of Convenience Stores conference in Atlanta, is part of Gilbarco’s Applause media system, which has been incorporated in its Encore pumps with color screens and Internet connections. Applause is an extension of Gilbarco’s SMART Merchandising system that retailers can use to display promotions and advertisements, and offer coupons through the pump’s receipt printer.

Gilbarco plans to begin testing of the Google service early next month, company spokeswoman Lucy Sackett told InformationWeek. The company hopes to roll out the service later in the month to about 3,500 pumps across the United States.

More Wordless Wednesday

My girlfriend Vicky and I decided that we are buying Bon Jovi and Daughtry tickets this Saturday morning. I am so excited. I don’t think I have been to a concert in some where around eight or even ten years. It was so funny, when the radio announced the show, I was like ohhhhh, I wanna go. I loooove Bon Jovi, then they said the date and that it’s on a Wednesday night, I am sure my face looked of fear. Crap, I can’t do that, I’ll have to work the next day. I am so old! But guess what? We’re going any way and we’re gonna have a great girls night out. So we work tired! We’re not THAT old. We can take it.

I am home from the doctors office and just as I thought he said I have a sinus and ear infection and gave me two prescriptions. I just hope they work fast and are able to stop my head from hurting. I can’t stand the thought of another night like last night.
I love the doctors that work at our local walk in clinic. They don’t mess around! They ask you a question or two and hand out scripts and send you on your way. It’s way worth the extra $5.00 co pay. My family doctor would have had me there for hours. That is IF I am lucky enough to get an appointment with in a weeks time.

My head doesn’t hurt nearly as much as it did last night , thank you Tylenol Sinus, but now my ear is starting to hurt and I am really starting to feel crappy. So I decided I am leaving the office early and going to the clinic to try and nip this in the bud.  I have a busy weekend planned with my husband, I can not get sick right now!
