As it turns out Allison will be the only one of us going with my parents to London this April. I just got the okay from her teacher. No worries when it comes to school.
With Gerry’s new job there is just no way he can get the time off. I was close to tagging along myself leaving only my husband behind but I forgot to count my lost wages in to the equation as well. It’s just too much money for us this year. No matter how I go over the numbers, it’s just not in the cards for us.
In fact my mother and step dad are picking up their flight tickets this afternoon. It’s going to be really hard on me knowing Allison is that far away from us for those two weeks. But I know my parents will take good care of her and it’ll be a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t want her to miss it. They are even planning a visit to Paris during the two week trip.
I’ll have to take Allison out shopping for some fun new clothes before the trip and load her up with a bunch of disposable cameras for lots of pictures.
She sure is one lucky little girl.
I was just sitting here watching One Tree Hill on my DVR and was kinda digging the rock band they have Peyton trying to sign.... then I realized the singer is ef-ing K- Fed !!!
Here’s a clip,
Now that I am blogging about it, I am not sure what is worse, that I am 37 and DVRing One Tree Hill or that for a minute there I was liking Kevin Federline.
After such a log hiatus I was really anticipating a really good episode and man did last nights episode really deliver.

Warning spoilers ahead…
Yes, I watched last night. I thought it was a good show. I laughed out loud at these, my heart broke for others and in between I thought there was a few really great singers found.
More Wordless Wednesday.
A little while a go I posted all about my crappy morning. Literally, cleaning dog crap off of Allison’s snow boots before work. Then I decided to change the direction of my day. There will be no more bitching. I am deleting my crappy morning and turning my day around right now.
Warning this Tom Cruise interview is nine minutes of WTF crazy talk.
(The video was pulled but thanks to Kat, I can give you a link and you can watch it on Gawker)
Question, who are “those people” he keeps talking about that stop him from playing ? And what does he “know” that stops him from going on vacation and romping? I saw Katie on Regis & Kelly yesterday and I have to say, she is a little crazy now too. Two peas in pod of crazy.
I decided to take in an afternoon movie by myself yesterday. I made it just in time to see Juno.
By far one of the best little movies I have seen in a long time! Just fantastic! The witting was very fast, witty and really down to earth. The cast was perfect. Not a bad performance in the bunch. I can’t find any thing negative to say about this film. If you have the chance it is a must see.
Attention The Office fans!
Rainn Wilson a.k.a Dwight totally makes the first five minutes of the movie. So freaking funny.
I don’t know about any of you but I am so ready for this writers strike to be over with. Just give the talented people what they deserve and lets move on !
I am already missing The Office and Private Practice some thing fierce. With Big Shots being canceled I am feeling my nightly entertainment and escape starting to dwindle down.
Thank goodness we have a few more episodes of Brothers & Sisters and Nip Tuck to enjoy.
