Today was like the first offical day back to work, even the boss was back from vacation so there was no real goofing off going on. It felt like it lasted forever.
At least Allison had a good day back to school and is a great mood. I think I’ll let her pick a movie after her shower and we’ll curl up on the couch for a while. Have some thing simple for dinner like grilled cheese and soup.  Perfect plans for tonight.

I am planning on taking Allison and my nephew to see this one right away. We saw the preview the other night when we went to see the Alvin & The Chipmunks Movie. I think it looks like a lot of fun.

We have plans to leave here in about two hours to go and visit some out of town friends of ours. I was up reading blogs and chating with my Basset Hound group way too late last night. As much as I love our friends and am looking forward to our visit, I would loooove to go back to bed for a couple more hours. I am not the only one either, even Roxy is all curled up on her blanket and doesn’t want to get up and she is usualy ready to play by now.

How cool is that? I mean who doesn’t love a fun give - a- way?

I just can’t understand people who say they can only enjoy a movie once. If I really like a movie I can watch it over and over. Some times I enjoy it even more the second or third time or appreciate some thing I didn’t catch the first time I saw it. I am sitting here on the couch with my laptop watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding for like the hundredth time, I can’t imagine flipping the cable channels and not stopping when I see it listed. There are a few movies I have seen so many times I can say just about every line of . For me some times that can be all the fun. Or maybe I am just a big dork?

We’re home from the movies, which was very cute. I enjoyed it way more then I expected to and the girls of course LOVED it. The previews did not do it justice. Very worth seeing on the big screen.

Tonight after work I am taking Allison and her best friend Emily out for pizza and to see the Alvin & The Chipmunks Movie. After spending most of her vacation time laying around sick and coughing she is so excited about this, it’s so cute. She was even doing her happy dance last night on her way to bed.
