I have been really cutting back on my food portions and trying to eat a lot healthier. I am also increasing my amount of exercise and I am already seeing results. I have been feeling pretty good about it. Until this afternoon. I feel like I am starving. To make it even worse my boss and a few of the guys are in the office right now eating McDonald’s. One even has a sundae. I am so jealous!

I work with one other woman and about a dozen men. Most days I don’t mind it or even see most of them men because they run machines out in our shop. So unless they get a phone call or I have a question for one of them it’s like a two person office in here with us ladies.
Not today! While I was busier then heck all day, most of the men were in here huddled around our extra computer talking about their nfl picks. They were like little boys! Even getting so excited at times I had to ask them to keep it down before I could answer the phone. Sounded like they had a good time but I am telling you, some of those men can be real serious about their nfl picks. 

What a nice weekend I just had. Friday night I had had my granddaughter over to play. She is so sweet and just a joy to spend time with. I think this (9mo) is my favorite age. Every time I have her over she is doing some thing new.
Then Saturday afternoon my sister and I took the kids to Hallmark for the big Webkinz Extravaganza. Where they each played games and had fun and came home with a couple more Webkinz. 
After that I went out for a little shopping and came home with a couple of tops for work and a couple more casual tops for summer. Thank you Sears, buy one get one free sale!  I really needed them. Then the three of us headed to my sisters house and enjoyed a night of pizza, drinks and geeky play. The men on their PS3’s, kids watching movies and playing with their Webkinz and us ladies in the kitchen hanging out on line, listening to music and relaxing together. As always it was a good time. My wonderful sister also surprised me with not only the perfect card but these super cute shoes for my birthday. Are they not the cutest Vans ??? They have little basset hounds on them!

Yesterday morning Gerry and I finished hanging our new bedroom curtains that I just love. They really add some color to the room.
Then we spent some time and went out for a nice dinner with my parents. They just got back from five days in Vegas and three months in Florida a few days before that. So it was a lot of fun to listen to all of their stories over a nice meal. Any time I get to spend with them is fun. I am very blessed with wonderful happy parents who I love to spend time with.

It’s so nice to be able to blog about such a great weekend! And the fun isn’t over yet ! We have plans to be at my mom’s tomorrow right on my birthday for dinner so my step dad can barbeque for me. Yum ! And when the weekend rolls around again, I have dinner and drinks planed with my sister just the two of us . So I have that to look forward to. Seriously, could I be any more lucky?

I just opened our escrow statement for the year and I can’t believe it our house payment finally went down some. Down to $1268.00 a month! After paying $1500.00 for the past year to cover a mistake in the escrow, this is great news. All the more reason to enjoy a few drinks tonight! Whoo hoo !

I was up way too late watching TV shows off of my DVR last night. I think I fell asleep some where around 2:00am. Then my sweet little granddaughter Rebecca woke me up at 6:00am ! It’s so not like her to wake up that early. She is a real sleeper and usually sleeps in at least till 8 or 9:00am. That is why SHE is back to sleep already and I am sitting here with Allison sipping my Diet Coke and pushing myself in to the shower. I have to drive Rebecca home by noon and then this afternoon Allison and I have plans with my sister and nephew to check out a Webkinz Extravaganza party at our local Hallmark shop. I swear these Webkinz are like crack! Allison is so excited she is beside her self with anticipation.

I am so glad today is Friday. In a couple of hours I will out of the office and ready for my weekend to begin. I have a lot of plans for the next couple of days. Including spending time with family, including my granddaughter, tonight my sister, her husband and my handsome nephew tomorrow. Then on Sunday we have dinner plans with my parents. Which I am really looking forward to and some where in there we plan to fit in more of the yard work we started last night and tearing off some of our wallpaper. Wow, my weekend sure sounds busy but as long as it’s time with the people you love busy can be good.
