"Aunt Jenny” that is what my pretty little niece calls me. She has the sweetest little voice when she says it too. I ended up taking Rebecca and Allison over to my sister’s house this evening and sitting with the kids for a while until she came home from work. The two babies were so cute and really good together. In fact for the couple of hours I was there, all four kids were really good and it was nice to be with them. I love it that we are all so close and spend so much time together. I have to say we are blessed with some pretty awesome kids.

Gerry and I love to get away for the weekend. With both girls and my mother in law in the house we have a real need to get away for some peace and quiet and a real need for privacy. There has been a few times when things were getting just a little too crazy and stressful around here and we didn’t even take the time to plan ahead. What worked great for us was planning a last minute trip to Florida online. It was wonderful and so relaxing. The best three day weekend ever! It had to be my favorite vacation yet. I can tell you from experience that web sites like Dialaflight.com are awesome. Looking at Dialaflight.com I see all the information we will need to book our next getaway. Um, can some one say Boston?

I can see us on this flight to Boston!

No matter if we are searching flights to Florida, Boston or flights to Toronto, Dialaflight.com offers every detail from the flights, hotels and rental car information to many travel ideas including weekend breaks, beach holidays and even relaxing spa information. I also really like it that at Dialaflight.com it’s easy to speak to a live travel consultants, who will ensure that all of your requirements are fulfilled and your plans are set. That means so unpleasant surprises. Which we have had our share of with last minutes trips in the past.

Gerry and I both have been sick with colds the past few days. Yesterday I was so sick I was back home in bed by 11:00am and slept until almost 2:00pm. I got up and soaked in a hot bath for a while. That seemed to really do me some good. I think I am finally feeling better today. Of course I am higher than a kite on cold meds right now but I really think I am better. I guess we’ll see when I come back down.

Allison’s class just finished reading The Spider Chronicles with their teacher and this evening they all made plans to meet at the dollar show to see it on the big screen. Allison was so worried she wouldn’t be able to make it because it started at 5:15 and most days I am home from work just about that time but lucky for her her dad was home in time to take her. I hope they are having a good time. It’s been a while since she has been out some where with just her dad. It makes me smile at the thought of them standing in line for popcorn and Allison introducing him to all of her little girl friends.

I woke and decided to try and shake off the bad day I had yesterday. It’s a beautiful morning and a new day and I am determined to make it a good one.
