It was wonderful ! I loved every minute and didn’t want it to end. I love it that they were able to stay so true to the series and characters for the film. It was just like an extended episode of where they left off. It was the perfect ending to each of their stories, in perfect SATC style. NOT that I wouldn’t show up again on opening night if they decided to make another one!

The three of us, my sister, daughter and I had a great time. I love it that we each loved the show as much as the other. It made it that much more fun.

there is nothing like the love and friendship of a sister!

Oh, and by the way. We were not the only freaks taking pictures! The place was filled with happy women, sisters, girlfriends, mothers and daughters, laughing and having a good time. Some too good of time, we saw a couple that could barely walk in their heals and we even saw one that couldn’t make it up the theater stairs to her seat. Too many cosmos maybe?  It was fun.

Am I sitting here at work counting down the minutes until my sister and I go to dinner tonight and to see Sex & The City: The Movie ?

660 minutes until we’ll be sitting in the theater. I am beyond excited.

I am so proud of myself, I have been able to stay away from any spoilers and have only watched one trailer for the movie. I intend to enjoy every minute of this two hour and twenty eight minute film !  I hope because we bought tickets online for such a late showing that the theater is filled with real fans our age and older and not teens who will talk through it.

09. Charlotte picks up a man in a cemetery.
10. Charlotte is addicted to the rabbit.
11. Harry proposes to Charlotte.
12. The “up the butt” discussion cab ride.
13. Big goes to Paris to bring Carrie back.

It was too hard to chose only 13 memorable moments of this show!

One of my all time very favorite episodes is “The Good Fight.”
When Carrie and Aidan fight in her bathroom,
“Who needs 5 almost-empty Speedstick deoderants, what are you, a crazy bag-man?” “You can stay here, with your boxes of shit, and your shoe eating dog, and you can knock yourself out, puttin’ on the Rogaine and the Speedstick!!!”

Watching the game up north with a dozen or more people in a screen room was a lot of fun. I walked back to our trailer at one point for a jacket and could hear the echoing sound of drunk happy hockey fans cheering through the woods.

Of course, I am a Sex - pert!  I have such an addiction to this show. I can NOT wait to see the movie on Friday night (just 3 more days) with my sister !

We were home from up north around 10:30pm last night. By the time we unpacked and settled in it was after 11:30pm and were in bed about an hour later. I was doing really good all morning but now I am sitting here at my desk ready to fall sleep. As tired as I am it was all so worth it. We had a great time. We spent a lot of the weekend with my parents and friends, which for us is always a good time. We enjoyed good company, good food, sitting my the camp fire and lots and lots of laughing. It was just what we needed!

Two more hours and I am out of this office until Tuesday. Sixteen more hours and my husband and I will be hitting the road on our way up north until some time on Monday.
