Am I the only person in the world that HATES iTunes?  How come when Real Player captured user information without informing users, people wanted to lynch the owners of the company, but for Apple it seems perfectly OK?  How come if any other company locks users into a specific playback device, they get sued for anti-competitive measures, but Apple can get away with it?

I COULD love iTunes, but as long as Steve Jobs keeps it under his thumb the way he does with all things Apple, I won’t touch it.

(My wife LOVES it however).

Latte Man, you certainly aren’t the only one.  I freaking HATE iTunes.

Yet, I have to use it, because I love my iPod.

All I gotta say is, this version better be better.  Like, more useful.  More practical.  But, I’m pessimistic, because “new and improved” doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily better… shoot, nowadays, it usually just means “more bells and whistles, with less functionality.”

I hope you’re right.  I hope this version is better.  Like, really better.  But I’m certainly not counting on it.
