No sign of relief

I just read that gas prices are expected to hit $5.00 a gallon in my area over the next month or two. WTF? I drive forty minutes each way to work and it’s killing me at $4.09 a gallon already. The cost of gas is effecting everything. I see it when I go to the grocery store big time. With no sign of relief or pay raises in sight it’s really freaking me out. How much more can it cost to just live?

It’s freaking me out too! I thought I was all set for retirement, but now I’m not so sure. I have cut down big on my gas consumption though by going 55mph. Where I used to have to fill up about every 3 days, now I go all week!

I feel your pain. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous how the economy is suffering.

We haven’t hit $4 yet, but I’ve already told my boss that I’m finding a car-pool buddy when we do!  (I have a 40 minute drive one way too)

Luckily, we have been allowed to work from home one or two days out of the week.  That has helped.  But yes.. the rise in price over everything is taking its toll on me as well.
