We have been a little movie crazy at our house lately. Here are my quick thoughts of what we have rented so far.

Things We Lost in The Fire,
LOVED it! Was there really any doubt? I am not a big Holly Berry fan but I thought she did a good job in this film. Of course Benicio is fantastic as always.

Rendition,
Not too bad. Gerry and I liked it. I was glad not to have seen it in the theater but it was worth renting.

In the Valley of Elah,
Another good film worth renting but I was glad not to have spent the money in the theater. Very well acted and done. Just a little long in spots.

No Country for Old Men,
Oh my gosh ! Such a good movie! Very disturbing yet so well made. Worth every award it has won. This one I wish I would have seen in the theater. I know a lot of people didn’t care for the ending but I thought it was brilliant. I am thinking of picking up the book to read next.

I am Legend,
How did I not know what this was about? I was so misinformed! I jumped a few times and thought it was good but I think Gerry liked it more then I did.

I watched the first half of No country for old men. It was great! That Javier is one insane bastard.

I loved I am legend… so thrilling!

I didn’t see the rest.

Did you see Juno?? It’s fanfuckingtastic!

We have Country for Old Men to watch this week.  I did Micheal Clayton yesterday.  I wished I’d read Country for Old Men first...I know it is a very famous book and my husband loves it.

I really don’t know what Legend is like either.  I wanted to see it but I just like Will Smith.  Is it scary?

I’ve only seen “I am legend” from your list and i didn’t really care for it, but someone had an alternate ending posted on their blog which was way better than the original ending.
